Types of Sicbo bets
(Individual number) The player selects a number between 1-6 and
if any of the dice land on that number the player wins and is paid 1:1, if two
dice land on the number than the player is paid 2:1, and 3:1 for all three dice.
The house edge is 7.9% for these types of bets.
(Double) The player selects two numbers between 1-6 and if both
of those numbers are rolled, the player will be paid 5:1. The house edge is 16.7%.
(Any Pair) If any of the three dice have the same value the
player will be paid 10:1. The house edge is 18.5%.
(Any Triple) If all three dice have the same value the player
will be paid 30:1. The house edge is 13.9%.
(Triple of a particular number) If all three dice land on the
exact number that the player selected, the player will be paid 180:1. The house
edge is 16.2% for these types of bets.
(Totals) The player selects a number between 4-17. If the
number he selected is the total count of all three dice, he will be paid
according to the casino's pay-out schedule for that particular number.
(Small or Big) The player selects either big or small. Betting
on small is predicting that the total of the dice will be between 4-10, betting
on big is predicting the total will be between 11-17. If a triple is landed all
bets are lost. Winners will be paid out 1:1. The house edge is 2.8% for this type of bet.
Sicbo Strategy
Sic Bo is purely a game of chance, but you can increase the likelihood of winning by betting on Small or Big. Also look for casinos that have a generous pay-out table for the more riskier bets, if you decide to play them.
